Evaluation

I've chosen two of my favourite artists to date Iain Macarthur and Lauren YS to keep as references of their websites so they can help build my self promotion digital, aesthetically and create a bigger target audience. I selected specific work that I feel expresses my style of work and what I'm comfortable with which are: line drawings, brush work and combining it with digital media. I've chosen images thats mostly coloured to create contrast and show off my skills more with a digital finish to a high level. I chose certain images that I'm proud of and feel its best to build attraction.
With my target audience I chose a social network, in this case, Facebook as a website to show and share my work to friends and family which makes it a personal site. For instagram I use it for a more daily updates of my sketch work and drawings, tagging potential similar subjects to try and get notice. I shared a link on the instagram page of my tumblr website to show more of my work if interested.
My official websites are cargo and tumblr which needs to be updated on a regular to keep interest to my followers. The two websites have different ways of setting up and customising, however both are simple enough to work with and show many range of customisation to help produce a successful website you personally want.

Lauren YS is another favourite artist of mine. Her website is slightly different to Iain Macarthurs with a different setting and layout. Still aesthetically pleasing, showing off her style she uses cargo to create her website and does a good job setting up to make it fairly easy for the target audience to use. The information titles are a lot more spaced out in terms of the range of differentiation of work, still easy to access and understand without confusion. She has also put her CV on her website which I have never come across before. Overall a successful website which regularly updates for target audiences to keep following her work and develop interest and build a fan base.

Research Self Promo: digital

I started looking at Iain Macarthurs website as an example since he is one of my favourite artists.
He shows an attractive title as his name to show of what his style and what he's significant for, which in this case line work. The information titles such as; about the artist is simple and easy to access. Giving a lengthy description of what he's about, showing clients he's worked with, events he's done and press. His website is simple and dynamic to use and shows no sign of difficult or confusion to the user.
